If your progress is missing, it usually means the game has disconnected from the cloud server. Please follow these steps exactly for your device.

FOR iOS (APPLE) USERS:
1. Open your device Settings > Game Center.
2. Ensure you are toggled ON and signed into the account where you originally played.
3. Open RoverCraft. Watch the top of the screen for a "Welcome back, [Username]" banner. If you see this, the game is connected.
4. If the progress does not load, go to the game's Main Menu > Settings and press the "Sync" button. Wait a few moments.
5. Last Resort: If that fails, uninstall the game, restart your device, reinstall the game, and log into Game Center before opening the app.

FOR ANDROID USERS:
1. Ensure you have the Google Play Games app installed (Green controller icon). This is different from the Google Play Store!
2. Open the Google Play Games app and ensure you are signed into the correct account.
3. Open RoverCraft. You must see the "Welcome" banner at the top.
4. If progress is missing, try playing and completing the Tutorial Expedition (Level 1). This sometimes forces the server to check for your old save file.
5. Go to Main Menu > Settings and press the "Sync" button.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
If you played as a "Guest" or without an internet connection, your progress was never sent to the cloud and cannot be recovered if the app was deleted.
