Shifting gears is the skill that every Trucker needs to know how to do.

The light on your tachometer will indicate when you should shift.

Hit the shift paddle on the right when the arrow is in a green zone for the optimal gear change. If you're successful, you'll receive a Perfect Shift, but change too early or too late when the indicator is red and you'll lose precious speed.
